Registration Policies
You may complete your LPA National Conference Registration Form in these ways: 1) online, with payment by credit card. 2) by fax, with payment by credit card. 3) by mail, with payment by credit card or check. The office will not be processing conference registrations over the phone.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS:
Refunds for registration fees, minus a $50 processing fee, will be granted for all requests received on or before June 1, 2024. Event fees will only be refunded prior to June 1st if LPA is able to resell the event tickets.
Refund requests must be sent in writing to the national office by email at jellyfish, by mail or fax. Refund requests made after June 1, 2024 may not be honored. Emergencies and illness will be considered on a case-by-case basis. There will be no on-site refunds for registration fees, events, or tours. Registrants who do not cancel prior to June 1st and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fees and activity fees.
Tickets for activities may be traded, sold, or given away at the discretion of the ticket holder. LPA takes no responsibility for trading, selling, or exchange of tickets. A āConference Notice Boardā will be provided on-site, near registration, for the purpose of posting information and individual ticket exchanges or sales.
INTERNATIONAL ATTENDEES:
If you are planning to attend the 2024 Conference and need an invitation to the conference in order to process your visa, please contact the LPA national office. For Spanish speaking attendees, contact Brenda Martinez at lpalatinos@gmail.com. For non-Spanish speaking international attendees, contact Marie Trottier at lpainternational2023@gmail.com.
CONFERENCE BADGE:
The official conference registration badge will be required at all events. It is required that you submit a badge photo with your registration, in order for your badge to be made. If a badge photo is not submitted in advance, please anticipate a wait time of approximately 12 hours for your badge to be made. Security guards and conference staff will be checking for conference badges at all functions. If you lose your badge, a replacement badge can be obtained for $20. Your conference badge will function as your admission ticket to all general events, dances, and workshops, which do not require an additional fee. Events requiring an additional fee include the childrenās room, awards banquet, off-site trips, etc.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS:
Unaccompanied minors (17 years and under) attending the conference without their parents or legal guardian must have an identified conference guardian. The Temporary Guardian Form must be included with their registration form or your packet will be returned to you as incomplete and unregistered. Please note: unaccompanied minors must complete their own individual LPA Registration and may not be added on as a guest to their guardianās registration.
MEDIA AT THE 2024 LPA CONFERENCE:
The Conference Management Committee, the LPA Public Relations Director, Jennifer Crumly, and the hotel management must approve all press and media requests at the LPA National Conference by June 15, 2024. Press credentials must be worn at all times.
If any members have questions or concerns, please contact Jennifer Crumly at jennifer.crumly@lpaonline.org. By signing the registration form you are signing a release to be shown on camera for pictures and video taken by LPA or by media at the conference. LPA reserves the right to revoke any press credentials if it is determined that it is not in LPAās best interest to continue granting access.
LPA CONCIERGE DESK:
This year, LPA will have a Concierge Desk located on the fourth level of the hotel, within the Registration area. LPA Concierge volunteers will be able to answer your questions about the local area and any questions you may have during the week. LPA Conference swag will also be available at the LPA Concierge desk!
SALE OF GOODS AT CONFERENCE:
The selling of any items; i.e. glow sticks, pins, food, etc., other than as a registered expo vendor during expo hours at the 2024 LPA National Conference is prohibited, unless otherwise authorized by the conference committee.
